Exploring the woods around RAF Lasham, still lots of relics left over from the world war 2 era. Lasham is still a working air field and most of the surrounding woodlands is private property!

Pill boxes on the Kennet and Avon canal
These pill boxes made the last defensive line protecting the Midlands from German invasion. The defensive work on the canal starts at Reading and continues past Newbury, Hungerford, Devizes.
At Avoncliff the defensive line leaves the canal and heads off towards Wells and all the way to the coast at Burnham on Sea..

Warminster
I was out walking for the day near Warminster out found this very nice old ruins of the local church!
Swan Mine
A few photos from our visit to the derelict mine Nr Bath..some of the passages were a very tight fit but we managed to get to the furthest points of the mine.
